Arthur C. Clarke–futurist and Sci-Fi writer–talks to a reporter from the Australian Broadcasting Network about the future of computing and the internet in this 1974 interview.

Clearly he had a pretty good handle on the direction information technology and networking was going–we’re certainly using computers largely in the fashion he describes.
